For the sake of ALLAH (Exalted is He) : Sahih Al-Bukhari

Door Of Kaaba Sharif Narrated `Abdullah bin `Umar Radi Allahu Anhu that the Prophet SalAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam said,

“While three men were walking, It started raining and they took shelter (refuge) in a cave in a mountain. A big rock rolled down from the mountain and closed the mouth of the cave. They said to each other, “Think of good deeds which you did for Allah’s sake only, and invoke Allah by giving reference to those deeds so that He may remove this rock from you.”

One of them said, ‘O Allah! I had old parents and small children and I used to graze the sheep for them. On my return to them in the evening, I used to milk (the sheep) and start providing my parents first of all before my children. One day I was delayed and came late at night and found my parents sleeping. I milked (the sheep) as usual and stood by their heads. I hated to wake them up and disliked to give milk to my children before them, although my children were weeping (because of hunger) at my feet till the day dawned. O Allah! If I did this for Your sake only, kindly remove the rock so that we could see the sky through it.’ So, Allah removed the rock a little and they saw the sky. Read the rest of this entry »

Shaʿbān – The month of our Master ﷺ

Our Master Prophet Muhammad ﷺ stated as regards to the blessed month of Shaʿbān, “Shaʿbān is my month and Ramadan is the month of Allah.”

~ Transmitted by as-Suyūtī in al-Jāmiʿ as-Ṣaghīr, (pp. 301 #4889)

Sayyidunā Usāmah bin Zayd (Allah Almighty is pleased with him) said, “I asked ‘Yā RasūlAllāh ﷺ, I see that you observe fasts more (extensively) in the month of Shaʿbān than any other month.’ Our Master ﷺ replied, “It is a month between Rajab and Ramadan; people are neglectful to it. In this month, the deeds of people are ascended towards Allah Almighty and I love that my deeds be ascended in a state when I am observing fast.”

~ Recorded by Nisā’i in as-Sunan (#2354).

The noble Prophet ﷺ would like observing fasts abundantly in the month of Shaʿbān. Sayyidunā ʿAbdullāh bin Abī Qais (Allah Almighty is pleased with him) has reported that he heard the Mother of Believers Sayyidatunā ʿAyesha Ṣiddīqah (Allah Almighty is pleased with her) saying Shaʿbān was the favourite month of beloved Prophet ﷺ as he used to fast in this month and then extend it up to the blessed month of Ramadan.

~ Transmitted by Abu Dāwūd in as-Sunan (2:476 #2431).

The Mother of Believers Sayyidatunā ʿAyesha Ṣiddīqah (Allah Almighty is pleased with her) said, “The beloved Prophet of Allah ﷺ used to observe fasts on all the days of Shaʿbān.” She further said, “I asked, Yā RasūlAllāh ﷺ! Is Shaʿbān your favourite month for observing fasts?” The beloved Prophet ﷺ replied, “Allah Almighty inscribes the name of every person destined to die in that year and I love that at the time of my passing away I am in the state of fasting.”

~ Transmitted by Abū Yaʿlā in his Musnad (4:277 #4890).

The Mother of Believers ʿAyesha Ṣiddīqah (Allah Almighty is pleased with her) said that the beloved of Allah Almighty would not fast so abundantly in any other month as he would in Shaʿbān, rather he used to fast the whole month and would say, “Act according to your capability as Allah Almighty does not cease His blessings until you become exhausted.”

Loyalty to ALLAH almighy useless without Love for the PROPHET salla allahu ta’ala’alayhi wa sallam

Allah In the name of the Most Affectionate, the Merciful.

YOUR ALLAH ALMIGHTY SAYS

“Lo! We have sent you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) as witness and a bearer of good tidings and a Warner, that mankind may believe in Allah and His Messenger, and may honor him,and may revere him and may glorify Him at early dawn and at the “close of day”
(SURAH XLVIII: 8-9)

Oh Muslims! Note that your ALLAH Almighty says hear clearly that there are three aims of sending to you the faith of Islam and revealing to the prophet the Holy Quran.

First, that people should believe in Allah and His Prophet.

Second, that people should respect the Prophet.

Third, that people should worship Allah Almighty.

Oh Muslims! Note the beautiful order in which these three important things have been mentioned. In the beginning Allah has mentioned the belief in Himself and in the end He has mentioned His worship and between these two He has mentioned His beloved Prophet. The reason is that belief without respect of Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم is no use. There are many Christians who have written Prophet’s greatness and refuted the allegations of the non-believers or given lectures, but because they have no belief in Allah, their writings and lectures are only an appearance but not reality. Had they a real attachment to the Prophet in their hearts they would have Started believing in Allah Almighty. Unless one holds the Prophet in the highest degree of affection, there is absolutely no reward for a life-time of loyalty to Allah. There are many yogis and others who have renounced all joys and spent their lives in praying to all. The are many amongst them who assert that there is no deity but Allah ( LA ILAHA IL LALLAH ) and they utter these words again and again but since they do not respect the Prophet their worship is not acceptable to Allah. Allah Almighty has said about such people:

“And We shall turn unto the work they did and make it scattered motes”
(SURAH XXV. 23)

About such people He says:

“Toiling, weary, scorched by burning fire”.
(SURAH LXXXVIII: 3-4)

May Allah protect us! Oh Muslim, is the respect for the Prophet a basic requirement of belief and salvation or isn’t it ? Say that it is, and definitely, it is. Read the rest of this entry »

Allah Almighty made the Holy Ka’bah as Qibla to fulfil the Holy Prophet’s Salla Allahu ta’ala’alayhi wa sallam desire

[Surah al Baqarah 2:144] We observe you turning your face, several times towards heaven (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him); so We will definitely make you turn (for prayer) towards a qiblah which pleases you; therefore now turn your face towards the Sacred Mosque (in Makkah); and O Muslims, wherever you may be, turn your faces (for prayer) towards it only; and those who have received the Book surely know that this is the truth from their Lord; and Allah is not unaware of their deeds. (Allah seeks to please the Holy Prophet – peace and blessings be upon him.) – Kanzul Iman English

Tafsir Noor-ul-Irfan english

1. It was the desire of the Holy Prophet Salla Allahu ta’ala’alayhi wa sallam that the Holy Ka’bah becomes the new Qibla of the Muslims. Once, while in Salaah the Holy Prophet Salla Allahu ta’ala’alayhi wa sallam looked skywards instead of towards the earth eagerly awaiting the revelation for the changing of the Qibla. At this stage he was given the glimpse of the forthcoming change. This verse suggests that the change of Qibla was the expressed wish of the Holy Prophet Salla Allahu ta’ala’alayhi wa sallam If Allah Almighty can make the Holy Ka’bah as Qibla to fulfil the Holy Prophet’s Salla Allahu ta’ala’alayhi wa sallam desire it is certain that Read the rest of this entry »
