The reason why Allah ta’ala created the Universe

Madina Sharif 393Bismillāh ir Rahmānir Raheem

Alhamdulillāhi Rabbil Álamīn w’al Salāt ū w’al Salām ū ála Sayyidunā wa Mawlanā Muhammad, Rahmatul il Álamīn, Sayyid ul Mursalīn, Khātim al Nabiyīn wa Qā’id al Ghurr il Muhajalīn wa ála Ālihī wa Sahbihī ajmaīn wa man tabīhum bi ihsānin ‘ila yawm il Dīn.

Question: What do the respected ‘Ulama of Dīn and the Muftī’s of the Shariáh say about the Hadīth “law laaka lama khalaqtul aflaak” Which book is this Hadīth in? Is Sayyidunā RasūlAllāh şal Allāhu álayhi wa sallam the reason for creation or not? Are there other ahadīth that support this narration?

Answer: Indeed Sayyidunā RasūlAllāh şal Allāhu álayhi wa sallam is the reason for the creation of Adam álayhis salām and the universe. If Sayyidunā RasūlAllāh şal Allāhu álayhi wa sallam was not in existence, then the Ársh and Farsh, Lawh and Qalām, the Skies and the Earth, Heaven and Hell, the trees and stones and all other creatures would not exist. There are many aḥadīth to this effect. Read the rest of this entry »

Golden Words of Wisdom by Ameer al-Mu’mineen Sayyiduna Mawla ‘Ali al-Murtudah Radi ALLAHu Ta’ala Anhu

Panch Naare Punjatan Ke Ek Naara Haidari ” YA ALI ” karamALLAHu wajahul karim !

  • To meet somebody with gaiety and cheerfulness is the first act of a good deed.
  • It is also an act of prayer to ponder over the work of nature.
  • To have suspicion in one’s belief is equivalent to polytheism.
  • Improper modesty is the course of misfortune. Very few people are convincing company.
  • Showing appreciation is the reason for receiving Divine blessings, and ungratefulness is the reason for receiving difficulties or hardship.
  • Respect is from amongst the excellent of marvels and charity is from amongst the most excellent forms of worship.
  • Death is an uninvited companion.
  • In every second are hidden difficulties.
  • To be victorious over your worship is an excellent feat.
  • An intelligent person lowers himself to attain a high status while a foolish person raises his status thereby disgracing himself.
  • Intelligence falls into 2 categories: Natural disposition and adaptation. There is no benefit from accommodated intelligence without the intelligence of natural disposition: for example sunlight is useless to one who cannot see.
  • Friendship is a relationship proficient from birth.
  • To be ashamed of ones sins augment ones eyes, to be proud of ones good deeds destroys ones eyes.
  • The companion that destroys worship, his desires and extensive worship for one day is the enemy of the soul.
  • An intelligent person always remains sad and remorseful.
  • In idleness one is reminded of gallantry.
  • To combine charity with obligation is wickedness.
  • To speak ill of an open sinner is not backbiting.
  • A persons true worth is hidden under his tongue.
  • To forgive is the best form of revenge.
  • A wise person is he who due to his previous experiences goes about doing things a different way.
  • Even though there is fear in speaking the truth, yet in it is salvation. Though it is simple to lie yet in it is definitely destruction.
  • Restlessness combined with patience is definitely more inconvenient.
  • A poor person is he who has no friends.
  • Knowledge with practise is liberating and practise without sincerity is useless.
  • Poverty, whom many people feel ashamed of, is better than that wealth which leads to sins and wrong doings making a person face dishonour and disgrace.
  • There is never a shortage of experiences and an intelligent person is he who progresses by it.
  • To fear difficulties is a strange condition of adversities.
  • To forgive easily is supreme respectability and to be vengeful is extreme meanness.
  • The recognition of a respectable person is when anyone is generous then he too treats that person with generosity and if anyone is meek towards him then he too becomes docile, and a wicked person is that person, when approached with submission then he treats that person with generosity and if he is approached with generosity the he becomes negligent.
  • The reason the Ulama are poor and helpless is, because the ignorant are plenty who do not understand their value.
  • For a criminal to plead guilty is the best form of amnesty or intercession.
  • An intelligent person when remaining silent ponders about the Almighty SubHanuhu wa Ta’ala and His creation, and wherever he looks, he learns a lesson from around him. Read the rest of this entry »

KEEPING THE COMPANIONSHIP OF THE PIOUS AND ABSTAINING FROM BAD COMPANY – Bahaar E Shariat Vol16

Hadith 1: The example of a good companion and a bad companion is like that of the seller of musk and the one who blows the bellow of the blacksmith. As for the seller of musk, then either he will grant some of it to you, or you may buy some from him, or at least you will enjoy the pleasant fragrance from him. As for the one who blows the bellow of the blacksmith, then either he will burn your clothes or you will get an unpleasant smell from him.

Hadith 2: Keep only the companionship of a true believer.

Hadith 3: Sit amongst the elders and enquire from the Ulama and be friendly with the (Religious) Leaders.

Hadith 4: A Muslim, who associates with the people and is patient when they aggrieve him, is better than the Muslim who does not associate with them and is intolerant when they aggrieve him.

Hadith 5: A good companion is one, that when you remember Allah, he assists you and when you forget (to remember Allah), he reminds you.

Hadith 6: A good companion is one, that by seeing him, you remember Allah; and his conversations help you to increase your virtuous deeds and his deeds remind you of the hereafter.

Hadith 7: Do not keep the companionship of a person who does not acknowledge your position, like you acknowledge his position 1

___________________________________________________

1. In other words, do not keep the company of a person who looks down on you, or it could mean that he is aware of his rights which you are responsible for, but he does not acknowledge your rights.
.
Hadith 8: Hazrat Umar Radi Allahu anhu said ‘Do not involve yourself in that which is not beneficial to you; and stay away from your enemy and avoid your friend unless he is trustworthy, as there is none equivalent to one who is trustworthy and only one who fears Allah can be regarded as being trustworthy (An Ameen). And do not be in the company of a ‘Faajir’, for he will teach you sinful acts and do not discuss secretive issues before him; And in regards to your affairs, (only) take the advice  of those who fear Allah’.

Hadith 9: Hazrat Ali Radi Allahu anhu said ‘Do not establish a brotherly bond with a sinful person, for he will adorn his actions before you (i.e. make his wrongs look good), and he will desire that you too may become like him, and (in doing so), he will bring forth his worst traits, making them seem good before you. His association with you is flawed and shameless. Also, do not establish a brotherly bond (friendship) with a foolish person, for he will put himself into hardship and he will afford you no benefit, and at times, he will try to cause you benefit, but he will end up causing you loss. His silence is better than talking, and to keep him at a distance is better than his closeness, and his death is better than his life. And do not befriend a liar as well, for living with him will not bring you any benefit. He will carry your  issues to others and he will bring that which others say to you, and even if you are speaking the truth, he will not be truthful’.

• The first and foremost factor of Imān is respect for the RasūlAllāh şallAllāhu álayhi wa âlihi wa sahbihī wa sallam.

• Imān is to accept every word of Sayyidunā RasūlAllāh şallAllāhu álayhi wa âlihi wa sahbihī wa sallam as absolute and nothing else but the truth and to testify wholeheartedly to the reality and truth of Sayyidunā RasūlAllāh şallAllāhu álayhi wa âlihi wa sahbihī wa sallam.

• May that faithless person’s mouth burn who ever says that the Prophet’s clothes are dirty! If Allah Almighty gives him the tawfīq to have the right etiquettes why does he not say ‘the dust has taken refuge in the Prophet’s şallAllāhu álayhi wa âlihi wa sahbihī wa sallam clothes/cloak’?

• The practice of Qiyām is good and recommendable because it is honour and respect to the Beloved Nabī şallAllāhu álayhi wa âlihi wa sahbihī wa sallam. And indeed, this is a practice of the great ‘Úlamā and we follow them. Read the rest of this entry »
