Did the Wahabis exist in the time of the Khulafa al-Rashidin? Al Malfuz Al Sharif Vol 1

Masjid Al Nabawi Al Malfuz Al Sharif Vol 1 – Anecdotes of AlaHadrat, Imam Ahmad Rida Khan عليه الرحمة (A Must Read & Share)

Question: Did the Wahabis exist in the time of the Khulafa al-Rashidin?

Answer: It was this very sect that Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Abbas رضی اللہ تعالٰی عنہ requested permission from Amir al-Mu‘minin Sayyidina “Ali al-Murtadah رضی اللہ تعالٰی عنہ to confront. They were 10,000 in number. Amir al-Mu’minin رضی اللہ تعالٰی عنہ granted him permission and he went to them and asked, “What was it about Amir al Mu‘minin that you so strongly disagree with?” They replied, “Why did the Amir appoint Sayyiduna Abu Musa Ash‘ari رضی اللہ تعالٰی عنہ as a judge (Hakam) In the event of Siffin?” This is Shirk, because Allah عزوجل states in the Qur’an:

Judgement is from none, but Allah عزوجل. – [Surah Yusuf, Verse 40]

Sayyiduna Abdullah ibn Abbas رضی اللہ تعالٰی عنہ replied , “Is it not in the very same Qur’an that Allah عزوجل states: Read the rest of this entry »

Madina MunawwarahConcept of Unity in Islam

Unity is one of the strongest values of Islam, proven by both the Holy Quran and the teaching of the Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم. However, there are some who don’t understand this concept and say in their ignorance that all people who read the Kalima are part of the Muslim Ummah and are brothers in Islam. How can this be?

The Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم said:

“Stay away from those astray from the deen and keep them away lest they put you in fitna and make you astray as well.” — Muslim, Vol. 1, Pg. 10; Mishkaat, Vol. 1, Pg. 20

Didn’t Musailma Kazzab read the Kalima but also claim to be a prophet after our beloved master, Muhammad Mustapha صلى الله عليه وسلم ? Didn’t Ghulam Ahmed Qadiyani (another reciter of the Kalima) say the same a few years back? Is he our Mu’min brother too? Shias profess the Kalima but say that the Quran is incomplete. Do we embrace them with open arms as believers? When the answer to these questions is “No, they are not Muslims”, why is reciting the Kalima made to be the criteria of unity? Mere lip-service of the Kalima doesn’t suffice for unity. Rather, having faith and conviction on all the dimensions of Tauheed (the Oneness of Allah Almighty) and Risaalat (Prophethood of the Beloved Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم) is its foundation. Madina MunawwarahOpinions of the Salf-e-Saliheen (our great pious predecessors) on Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jamaah

Hadrat Sayyiduna Shaykh Abd’al-Qadir al-Jilani عليه الرحمة says in his famous book Ghuniyya-t at-Talibeen “There are 73 groups as foretold by Sayyadina Rasulullah صلى الله عليه وسلم. The group which will be saved from the fire of Hell is the Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jamaah.”

“The Believer should adapt himself to the Sunnah and to the Jama’ah. The Sunnah is the way shown by Rasulullah صلى الله عليه وسلم. The Jama’ah is composed of the things done unanimously by the Sahaba al-Kiram who lived in the time of the four caliphs called Khulafa’ ar-Rashidin (and others in their path). A Muslim must prevent the multiplication of the men of bid’ah and keep away from them, and should not greet them (as given in many Hadith on this issue). Ahmad ibn Hanbal (Radi Allahu ta’ala anhu), the Imam of our Madhhab, said that greeting a man of bid’ah meant loving him since it had been declared in a Hadith, ‘Disseminate (your) greeting (salaam)! Love one another in this way!” He also said (pg. 143): “The title, Ahlus-Sunnah, which the innovators have expressed for themselves is not appropriate for them”.

Tablighi Jamaat and Wahabis in light of Ahadees

heaven & hellNote: Due to objections from Tablighi Jamaat and Wahabis that the Ahadees stated in this article were not found upon there research. We have posted below the Arabic Text and Ahadis number where possible.

The Holy Prophet (Sallal Laahu Alaihi Wasallam) has Prophesied that many individuals and religious sects will cause dissension and mischief till the Day of Judgment. He has made a particular reference to the Wahhabi/Tableeghi Movement.

Hazrat Abu Huzaifa (Radiallhu Anhu) narrates a Hadith concerning the leaders of the mischief makers: “I swear by Allah that the Holy Prophet (Sallal Laahu Alaihi Wasallam) has not left out a single leader of Fitna from this day to the day of Qiyamah. Their followers would number 300 or more and further gave their names and that of their tribes.” (Abu Dawood)

FIRST HADITH

Imam Bukhari (Radiallhu Anhu) quotes this Hadith from Abdullah ibn Umar (Radiallhu Anhu) that the Holy Prophet (Sallal Laahu Alaihi Wasallam) once prayed for Syria (Shaam) and Yemen. It is narrated that there were some people of Najd also present in the gathering and they requested the Prophet (Sallal Laahu Alaihi Wasallam) to make du’a for Najd also. The Holy Prophet (Sallal Laahu Alaihi Wasallam) continued saying: “O! Allah, Shower Blessings on Shaam and Yemen,” The people of Najd again requested the Prophet (Sallal Laahu Alaihi Wasallam) to offer prayers for Najd. The Prophet (Sallal Laahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: “It is a place of tremor and Fitna (Mischief) and the horn of Shaitaan will rise from there.” (Bukhari Shareef, Vol. ii, PP. 1050)

It can be deduced from the above Hadith that Najd is neither blessed nor a good place but one of Fitna and Evil. Najd has been deprived of the prayers of the Holy Prophet (Sallal Laahu Alaihi Wasallam) and therefore Najd has the seal of misery and misfortune and hoping for any good from there is going against the Will of Allah.

The Arabic word used in the above Hadith is Qarnush Shaitaan, which normally means the horn of Shaitaan. But the ‘Misbahul Lughaat’, a dictionary printed in Deoband has the following meaning: “One who follows the advice of Shaitaan.” (Misbahul Lughaat, pp/663). Thus we learn that a Najdi/Wahhabi group will emerge, as pointed out by Rasoolullah (Sallal Laahu Alaihi Wasallam) and this group will follow the advice of Shaitaan (Shaitaan refuses to respect Prophets and Saints, remember his refusal to bow to Hazrat Adam (Alayhi Salaam) is mentioned in the Quran. It will create havoc in the Muslim world. We are now witnessing the emergence of the Wahhabis who, with the assistance of petrodollars, are sweeping the Muslim world and are bribing them into accepting Wahhabism as the official version of Islam. Wahhabism is a disease but so many are misled into believing that it is curing the Ummah of Shirk, Kufr and Bidah. It is being portrayed as a revivalist movement. This is against the Ahadith. Looking at the geographical position of Najd, it lies to the East of Medina. The Prophet (Sallal Laahu Alaihi Wasallam) pointed towards the East and said:
“There, that is the direction from where Fitna will emerge.”

SECOND HADITH

Abdullah bin Umar (Radiallhu Anhu) narrates in Muslim Shareef: “The Holy Prophet (Sallal Laahu Alaihi Wasallam) once emerged from the room of his wife, Hazrat Ayesha (Radiallahu Anha) and pointing towards Najd exclaimed:
‘This is the center of Kufr from where the horn of Shaitaan will rise’.”
(Muslim Shareef Vol. ii, PP. 1394)

THIRD HADITH
Allama Dahlan narrates an authentic Hadith in his book ‘Addarus Sunniah’, which he has quoted from Sihaah. Read the rest of this entry »

MARRYING IN THE FAMILY OF DEVIANTS

Question: Is it permissible to marry in the family of Rafzees (Shiaa)? Nowadays, it is so complicated that either someone’s uncle or someone’s brother-in-law is a Rafzee.

Answer: It is not permissible. There are great dangers in such marriages. Your Imaan will leave your heart and the love for Allah and His Rasool (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) will also leave you. Almighty Allah states in the Holy Quraan,”If you come to your senses after the Shaitaan makes you forget, then do not sit in the company of the oppressors”. Sayyiduna Rasoolullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) states, “Run far from them and keep them away from you so that they may not mislead you”. There is a Hadith Shareef that is specifically related to the Rafzees, “A nation will come, they will have a bad title, they will be called Rafzee. They will not come for Jummah nor Jamaat. They will insult the pious predecessors. You must not sit in their company, nor eat, nor drink nor marry in them. If they get sick, do not visit them nor attend their funeral if they die”.

Imraan bin Khataan Raqqaashi was regarded as one of the greatest Aalims and authority on Hadith (Muhaddith). He married his cousin sister who was a Kharijite. The Ulema were very disturbed and opposed this marriage. He said to them, “I have married her in order that I may guide her on the right path”. Not even a year had passed before she had converted him to a Khariji. He went to hunt but became the target. This rule applies to all corrupt sects who have deviated from the Ahle Sunnah wa Jamaat. Due to their Kufr beliefs, the Ulema of Islam have passed the Fatwa of Irtidaad on them. People with such Kufr beliefs are regarded as Murtads, hence association and social bonds with them is strongly opposed as mentioned in the Hadith Shareef. Some of these corrupt cults are Wahabi, Deobandi, Qadiani, Rafzee (Shia), etc. Infact, the Nikah of a Muslim is not valid with them because of their Kufr. Children born from such marriage will be Waladu-Zina (illegitimate). Consult “Fatawa-e-Alamgeer” for details.

Surah Al Qamar glorious miracle of splitting of the moon, yet stubborn infidels failed to accept faith in it

ALLAHbeginning with the name of the Most Affectionate, the Merciful.

Translation from AlaHazrat radi allahu anhu’s “Kanzul Iman” Tafsir from Mufti Ahmed Yaar Khan Naeemi radi allahu anhu’s “Noor Ul Irfan”

1.The hour came near and the moon was split

* In that one of the major signs of the Day of Judgement, the splitting of the moon has taken place.

* In this verse, reference is made to one of the major miracles of the Holy Prophet Salla Allahu ta’ala’alayhi wa sallam, i.e. the splitting of the moon. Its summary is as foIlows Allama Ahmed Zaryooni states in his Sharah Qaseedah Burdah that Abu Jahl called upon his Yemeni friend Habib to assist him to stop the propagation of Islam. When Habib came to the sacred city of Makkah, Abu Jahl listed many complaints against the Holy Prophet Salla Allahu ta’ala’alayhi wa sallam  to him. In reply Habib said that he would discuss this with the Holy Prophet Salla Allahu ta’ala’alayhi wa sallam He sent courier to inform the Holy Prophet. Salla Allahu ta’ala’alayhi wa sallam  that he has come from Yemen and is sitting with the leaders of the Quraish at a certain place, and that he wishes to see him. It was the fourteenth night. The moon was at its fullest. The Holy Prophet Salla Allahu ta’ala’alayhi wa sallam  responded to the call of Habib. The Yemenite asked: “Towards what are you inviting the people?” “Towards the Oneness of Allah and His Prophet”, was the reply. Habib then asked: “what miracle do you have?” “whatever you desire”, was the reply. “Of the miracles that I would like to see, the first is that you should split the moon in two, after which I would request the others”, said Habib. The Messenger of Allah Salla Allahu ta’ala’alayhi wa sallam  replied: “Come to the hill of Safa”. Habib, accompanied by all the leaders of the Quraish. followed the Holy Prophet Salla Allahu ta’ala’alayhi wa sallam  to the hill of Safa. There he pointed his blessed finger towards the moon and, lo and behold! The moon split into two, one half stayedon the one side of the hill and the other half on the other side: i.e. there was quite a distance between the two halves. The moon remained in this split condition for some time. for everyone to see. Thereafter, the Holy Prophet Salla Allahu ta’ala’alayhi wa sallam  again pointed to the moon and at once the two halves were joined into one. Then. the Holy Prophet Salla Allahu ta’ala’alayhi wa sallam asked: “Oh Habib, what else do you want to see?” He replied: “Tell me what is in my heart’? The Holy Prophet Salla Allahu ta’ala’alayhi wa sallam  replied: “Oh Habib, you have a daughter who is cripple, deaf and dumb. Your wish is that either she be cured. if not, she should die. Go, she is cured, and I want you now to recite the Kalimah and accept Islam’. Habib, and many others present there accepted Islam. Seeing this, Abu Jahl burned with envy and said that this is witchcraft. Read the rest of this entry »

Definition Of Iman In The Light Of Quran and Hadith

al-Imam Ahmed Rida: The lies of the Deobandis

When these folk are helpless to do anything else, and cannot see a place to flee; and because Allāh táālā has not given them guidance to repent; and they do not refrain from uttering those blasphemies said against Allāh táālā and His Messenger sallAllahu alayhi wa sallam; nor withdraw insults that were published, nor proclaim this withdrawal, they resort to slander, which is the:

FIFTH SUBTERFUGE

This kind of behavior is described in the verse:

they seek to prevent from the path of Allah and wish to subvert it. (Sūrah Al-Aárāf, 7:45)

To thwart poor common folk from the path of Allāh and to instigate them, and seeking to pull wool over their eyes in broad daylight, they tell them: “What is the reliability of these scholars of Ahlu’s Sunnah? And what is the credibility of their fatāwā? These people do takfīr for even petty things and their machine always keeps churning out fatāwā of kufr. After all, they have declared Ismāýīl Dihlawī as kāfir; Maulvi Is’ĥāq[1] as kāfir; Maulvi Ábd al-Ĥayy[2] as kāfir…”

And those who have a greater degree of shame[3] add that MáādhAllāh! we have declared Shaykh Shāh Ábdu’l Ázīz, Shāh Walīyullah, Hājī Imdādullāh, Mawlānā Shāh Fađlu’r Raĥmān as kāfir[4]. And those who are beyond all bounds of shame, accuse us of saying – and I seek Allāh’s refuge from such thing, MáādhAllāh – that Shaykh Mujaddid e Alf-e-Sāni[5] was kāfir.

Wherever they see that someone has a special reverence for a certain personality, there they use his name and say that Sunnis have declared him a kāfir. This kind of defamation has reached such a state, that some esteemed and honorable[6] people went to Mawlānā Shāh Muĥammad Husayn Ilāhabādī and told him that we have said – and I seek Allāh’s refuge: MáādhAllāh, MáādhAllāh, MáādhAllāh – that Sayyidunā Shaykh al-Akbar Muhiyuddin Ibn al-Árabi [may Allāh sanctify his secret] is a kāfir. May Allāh táālā grant the noble Mawlānā lofty stations in paradise, that he acted upon this verse: Read the rest of this entry »

Allah – In The Name Of The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful.

This book is written for all of those:

  • Who sincerely want to understand the differences between the scholars of the Ahle Sunnah School and the scholars of the Deobandi School and who wish to remove the real obstacles towards unification.
  • Who in their private meetings, address these serious and principled differences as (1) a deceit of the Maulvis, (2) a means of making money, (3) a way of making a living etc., – and who receive applause from the people, for expressing such thoughts.
  • Who, despite being highly educated, consider making attempts at understanding and removing such differences as a waste of time.
  • Who consider the differences between the Ahle Sunnah scholars and the Deobandi scholars, as merely trivial or secondary.
  • Who spend their scholarly and research capabilities in clarifying and interpreting the insolent writings of the Deobandis. (Perhaps religion will remain incomplete without such explanations!)
  • Who consider researching the differences between the Ahle Sunnah and Deobandi scholars just a waste of time, whereas at the same time they are the most zealous advocators of unification!
  • Who consider that Teejah (meals for the poor on the third day of passing away of a Muslim), Daswaan (meals for the poor on the tenth day of passing away of a Muslim), Chaleeswan (meals for the poor on the fortieth day of passing away of a Muslim), and visits to mausoleums are the actual differences between the Ahle Sunnah scholars and Deobandi scholars.
  • Who consider the publication and sale of literature based on blasphemous and insolent writings, as the most important service to Islam!
  • Who feel uneasy at the mention of religious differences, but who spend all their physical and monetary resources in tolerating and solving with elegance all their official problems and business affairs.
  • Who advise that as per the circumstances, disputed writings & problems should not be discussed – but do not render this advice to the institutions that are ceaselessly publishing such literature.
  • Who term the issues of (a) Respecting our Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), (b) The status of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), (c) The attributes of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), (d) Veneration of the Companions and of the members of the family of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), (e) Sainthood and (f) other Islamic issues, as “Sectarianism” perpetrated by the Ahle Sunnah school of thought – and in this way such persons intentionally or unintentionally support infidelity and heresy.
  • Who understand the real causes of the differences and have the true spirit of presenting a program on the national (or international) level, through which the wide gulf of differences can be bridged and an initiative can be taken towards unification.
