Tablighi Jamaat and Wahabis in light of Ahadees

heaven & hellNote: Due to objections from Tablighi Jamaat and Wahabis that the Ahadees stated in this article were not found upon there research. We have posted below the Arabic Text and Ahadis number where possible.

The Holy Prophet (Sallal Laahu Alaihi Wasallam) has Prophesied that many individuals and religious sects will cause dissension and mischief till the Day of Judgment. He has made a particular reference to the Wahhabi/Tableeghi Movement.

Hazrat Abu Huzaifa (Radiallhu Anhu) narrates a Hadith concerning the leaders of the mischief makers: “I swear by Allah that the Holy Prophet (Sallal Laahu Alaihi Wasallam) has not left out a single leader of Fitna from this day to the day of Qiyamah. Their followers would number 300 or more and further gave their names and that of their tribes.” (Abu Dawood)

FIRST HADITH

Imam Bukhari (Radiallhu Anhu) quotes this Hadith from Abdullah ibn Umar (Radiallhu Anhu) that the Holy Prophet (Sallal Laahu Alaihi Wasallam) once prayed for Syria (Shaam) and Yemen. It is narrated that there were some people of Najd also present in the gathering and they requested the Prophet (Sallal Laahu Alaihi Wasallam) to make du’a for Najd also. The Holy Prophet (Sallal Laahu Alaihi Wasallam) continued saying: “O! Allah, Shower Blessings on Shaam and Yemen,” The people of Najd again requested the Prophet (Sallal Laahu Alaihi Wasallam) to offer prayers for Najd. The Prophet (Sallal Laahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: “It is a place of tremor and Fitna (Mischief) and the horn of Shaitaan will rise from there.” (Bukhari Shareef, Vol. ii, PP. 1050)

It can be deduced from the above Hadith that Najd is neither blessed nor a good place but one of Fitna and Evil. Najd has been deprived of the prayers of the Holy Prophet (Sallal Laahu Alaihi Wasallam) and therefore Najd has the seal of misery and misfortune and hoping for any good from there is going against the Will of Allah.

The Arabic word used in the above Hadith is Qarnush Shaitaan, which normally means the horn of Shaitaan. But the ‘Misbahul Lughaat’, a dictionary printed in Deoband has the following meaning: “One who follows the advice of Shaitaan.” (Misbahul Lughaat, pp/663). Thus we learn that a Najdi/Wahhabi group will emerge, as pointed out by Rasoolullah (Sallal Laahu Alaihi Wasallam) and this group will follow the advice of Shaitaan (Shaitaan refuses to respect Prophets and Saints, remember his refusal to bow to Hazrat Adam (Alayhi Salaam) is mentioned in the Quran. It will create havoc in the Muslim world. We are now witnessing the emergence of the Wahhabis who, with the assistance of petrodollars, are sweeping the Muslim world and are bribing them into accepting Wahhabism as the official version of Islam. Wahhabism is a disease but so many are misled into believing that it is curing the Ummah of Shirk, Kufr and Bidah. It is being portrayed as a revivalist movement. This is against the Ahadith. Looking at the geographical position of Najd, it lies to the East of Medina. The Prophet (Sallal Laahu Alaihi Wasallam) pointed towards the East and said:
“There, that is the direction from where Fitna will emerge.”

SECOND HADITH

Abdullah bin Umar (Radiallhu Anhu) narrates in Muslim Shareef: “The Holy Prophet (Sallal Laahu Alaihi Wasallam) once emerged from the room of his wife, Hazrat Ayesha (Radiallahu Anha) and pointing towards Najd exclaimed:
‘This is the center of Kufr from where the horn of Shaitaan will rise’.”
(Muslim Shareef Vol. ii, PP. 1394)

THIRD HADITH
Allama Dahlan narrates an authentic Hadith in his book ‘Addarus Sunniah’, which he has quoted from Sihaah. Read the rest of this entry »

Is it permissible to keep dogs or not? – Ahkaam E Shariat Part 1

Question: 20th Rabi ul Aakhir 1320 Hijri

What is the ruling of the learned Ulama regarding whether it is permissible to keep dogs or not? Is it permissible to keep pigeons without the intention of racing them? What about the ruling regarding quail fighting and cock fighting? Also what is the rule regarding the keeping of falcons and eagles and to use them for hunting and to then to eat which they have hunted?

The Answer: It is permissible to keep falcons and eagles and to use it for hunting is also allowed and to eat which they have hunted is also allowed. Almighty Allah says, “And which hunting animals have you trained for hunting” (Surah Maida, verse 4).

It must however be noted that the animal must be hunted for the purpose of attaining food, for medicinal purpose or for any beneficial reason. It should not be just for sport and for fun. This is a waste of time and is haraam and those who do this are sinful. That animal that is killed by them is halaal if they have been well trained to hunt and bismillah was said when releasing them. It is clear that to release if for the sake of game hunting (for sport) is haraam and this does not interfere which the Zibah according to Sharia just as to take Allah’s name and then strike a sheep from the neck (nape) is a haraam action, but to eat such an animal is halaal.

Quail fights, cock fighting, and getting any other animal to fight, like the way people fight rams, little birds and some even fight haraam animals such as elephants and bears are all haraam as this is to cause pain to animals without reason. It has been mentioned in the Hadith Shareef that the Holy Prophet (Sall Allaho Alaihi Wa Sallam) has prohibited us from fighting animals (against one another). (Ref: Abu Dawood and Tirmizi from Ibn Abbas radi Allahu anhu and Tirmizi has categorized it as Hassan Sahih)

To keep pigeons just for the sake of comforting ones heart and not for any impermissible reason is allowed. To fly pigeons from rooftops so that one may go on the rooftops and look at our Muslims females, or to throw stones at the pigeons, causing windows to break and the danger of injuring someone’s eye, to fly pigeons to capture the pigeons belonging to others or to fly them the entire day absolutely hungry, and to enjoy seeing them fly in this way, not even allowing them to land when they need are all improper and to keep the pigeons for these reasons is haraam. It is in Durr-e-Mukhtar as follows: “It is Makrooh (to keep the pigeons caged) even if it is in their special enclosure (if this is to harm others). This is when this harm is caused through looking (at what is not allowed) and by trapping the pigeons of others. Thus, if one flies them from a rooftop and this causes disclosure of females, and if one throws stones, causing windows to break, then the person who threw the stones will be answerable and he will be stopped from doing this very sternly. If he does not abstain from this, then the chief police officer of the town has the right to make them (the pigeons) zibah. If they are not for flying, then this is doing what is best due to feeling for the pigeons and this is Mubah (permitted).”

It is in Sahih Bukhari etc. on the authority of Abdullah bin Umar (radi Allahu anhu) and in the Sahih of Ibn Hibaan on the authority of Abdullah ibn Umar (radi Allahu anhu) that the Holy Prophet (Sall Allaho Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, “A lady went into hell because of a cat. She kept the cat tied up. Neither did she feed it nor did she release it, so that she may be free and eat the mice etc.” It has been mentioned in the narration of ibn Hibaan that the said cat has been appointed to punish the woman in hell and it bites her with its teeth from in front and from behind. The ” MEAT ” which is hidden from the sight of a ” MUSLIM ” Halaal or Not ?

For meat to be Halaal, it depends on the proper Islamic method of slaughtering carried out by a Muslim or by a Kitaabi, of an animal which is permitted for Muslim consumption by invoking on it the Name of Allah at the time of Zibah. If there is even an atom of doubt in the meat being Islamically slaughtered then such meat will be considered as Haraam.

As long as the Zabiha of a Muslim is in the sight of a Muslim, then it is accepted as Halaal. If it is out of the sight or possession of a Muslim then it is doubted and to eat such meat is Haraam for this reason, that as long as an animal is alive it’s consumption is Haraam. It only becomes Halaal after Zibah-e-Shar’i (Slaughtering according to Shari’ah). If there is no proof of Shari’ah whether the animal was slaughtered in accordance with the Laws of Shari’ah then the meat of such an animal is Haraam, since it is proven with Yaqeen that the animal is Haraam, thus how can it be accepted as Halaal only by presuming that the animal was slaughtered by a Muslim. It is in “Al-Ashbah” as follows concerning the purchasing of meat from Majusis: “The meat of a live animal is Haraam, thus the purchaser is bound by the originality of it being Haraam and unless the proper Zibah of such an animal is not proven, it will remain Haraam.”

If a Kaafir says that the meat purchased by him is the Zabiha of a Muslim, then his word will not be acceptable since Halaal and Haraam deal with the matters of Deen and trust. It must be known that in the circumstances of Deen and trust, the word of a Kaafir is unacceptable. It is therefore, stated in “Fathul Qadeer” as follows: “The meat from the butcher of a Polytheist is not Halaal until such time it is proven to be the Zibah of a Muslim, since such meat is in reality Haraam, and the proper slaughter of such an animal becomes doubted.”

Allama Shaami (radi Allahu anhu) has stated as follows in “Raddul Muhtar”: “By the person being a Majusi, it is enough to establish such meat as Haraam even if he claims that it is the Zabiha of a Muslim. The reason for this is that on the basis of trust, integrity, and honesty his word is unacceptable.”

In “Muamilaat” (General Business Affairs), the message of a Kaafir is only accepted on the condition that honesty prevails without doubt. If there is doubt of his message being true in general business affairs, then also one should not act on his words. (Bahare Shariat, vol. 12, page 37) Read the rest of this entry »

Deobandiyyah or Deobandi

This is another group of the Wahabiyah in India and they are also paid agents of their anti-Islamic foreign masters. the four leading Deobandi leaders: Ashraf Ali Thanvi, Rasheed Ahmad Gangohi, Khaleel Ahmad  Ambethvi and Qasim Nanuatvi crossed all the limits of the Islamic Shariah and of issolance, in the grandure of Allah Ta’ala and His Holy Messenger (Sallal Lahu Ta’ala Alaihi Wassllam).

1-  Ashraf Ali Thanvi rejected the unseen knowledge for the Holy prophet (Sallal Lahu Ta’ala Alaihi Wasllam). and not only that, but he went so far that,he confirmed the Holy prophet’s (Sallal Lahu Ta’ala Alaihi Wasllam). unseen knowledge with animal and mad-man, Even in some cases he said they have more unseen knowledge than the holy prophet (Hifz-ul-Iman p.8)

He also permitted his followers to recite instead of first Kalima (The first code of Islam),i.e. “La ilaha Illallahu Muhammad ur Rasool lullah.” with his name in the Kalimah: La-ilha illallahu Ashraf Ali Rasool lullah” (Maz Allah) When he was asked :”Whether this uttrance is against Islam or not ? He explained that : ‘No there is nothing against Islam .”‘

Can any ignorant Muslim proclaim such a blaphemous statements?!! No! Never. Then Imam Ahmad Raza Khan (Radi Allahu Anhu) fulfilled his religious duty as a scholar and asked him to withdraw his statements but he insisted on those  statements.

And Imam Ahmed Raza (Radi Allahu Anhu) issued verdict against him that because of these statements he has uttered, has gone out of Islam and so he is a Kafir. Ulama and scholars around the Islamic world accepted, confirmed and approved this verdict against him and apperciated Imam Ahmed Raza’s  (Radi Allahu Anhu) efforts and hard word on Islam.

2-Another Wahabi Rasheed Ahmad Gangohi has said in his book that: “Satan’s unseen knowledge is greater than that of the Holy prophet” (Fatawa Rasheedia P.10). He further said in another statement that: ” if you (Muslims) want eteral salvation in present age, you have to only follow me.’ Who can say such a blaspemous statement other than a satan? No Alim (scholar), or ordinary Muslim can utter or accept such statements as these. Only a devil like Gangohi, can say this sort of absolute Kufr.

Imam Ahmad Raza (Radi Allahu Anhu), as an Alim, also asked this man to withdraw his  statements but he insisted on them. so Imam Ahmad Raza  (Radi Allahu Anhu) fulfilled his his duty as a Muslim Alim and issued against him verdict of kufr and all Ulama also accepted , confirmed and approved this verdict.

3-   Khaleel Ahmad Ambethvi worte a book entitled with ” Barahin-e-Qatia.”

Rasheed Ahmad Gangohi verified this book and confirmed the statements of Khaleel Ahmad Ambethvi. Khaleel Ahmad has said in this book that: ” This is not a new issue that Allah can tell a lie , rather there is a difference of opinionns between ancient Ulama.” Imam Ahmad Raza (Radi Allahu Anhu) wrote the following books in refutation of this blasphemous talk:-

Subhan-Al-Subbuh
Al-Haibatul Jabbariah
Al-Qama-ul-Mobeen etc.

He wrote in this Barahin-e-Qatia that: ” As regards satan and the angel of death, the depth of their knowledge stands proven from the definitive verse of  the Holy Quran but there is nothing as such in the Holy Quran to prove the depth of the knowledge of prophet (Sallal Lahu Ta’ala Alaihi Wasllam).

In other words, satan’s knowledge of unseen is greater than that of the Holy proghet ” (p.51)

He has also said that ; ” The Holy prophet has even no knowledge of behind the wall .” (p.51)

He also said that; ” If any one belives that prophet comes during a Milad-an-Nabi”, celebration, he becomes a Kafir. How could any Muslim tolerate
such a blasphemous statement, Imam Ahmad Raza (Radi Allahu Anhu) is an Alim of Islam  fulfilled his religious duty and issued verdict against him and all Muslim scholars ,also accepted confirmed and approved this verdict.

4-   Qasim Nanautvi has said in his book: “if a prophet comes after the last prophet.”(Tahzeer-un-Naas p-24).He further said in the same book  that:According to the general opinion of the ordinary Muslims , “Khatim-un-Nabiyeen” means ‘The last of the prophet ‘,But according to the scholars (Ulama), it does not mean this. And there is no excellence to be the ‘ Last “‘ He says against the same book : ” A follower can equal in good action with the prophet and sometimes a follower can be rewarded more than the prophet.”

Any one can imagine, what mentalities these misguided people had that they uttered such a Blasphemous statements? It seems that they were definitely paid agents of the enemies of Islam and they were also receiving huge  salaiesfor their anti-islamic actions.

Imam Ahmed Raza (Radi Allahu Anhu) fulfilled his religious duty as an Alim of Islam and issued verdict of his kufr and all Muslims scholars around the world accepted, confirmed and approved this verdict and greatly appreciated Imam Ahmed Raza’s (Radi Allahu Anhu) efforts for preserving the Islamic beliefs.

NADWA REFORMER

Thirdly, the verses of the Holy Quran which have been quoted above, are enough to refute this argument. It has been proved by these verses that despite reading the Kalima or offering prayers these insolent people are disbelievers. At one place Allah said “They have become disbelievers after embracing Islam, because they have made a particular statement.” At another place Allah has said: “Make no excuses; you have become disbelievers after embracing Islam”. According to this flimsy argument there should be more than 99 words of disbelief but Allah has declared them as disbelievers for only one word of disbelief. Perhaps the insolent people will answer that this is a mistake of Allah or He has been too hasty in restricting the sphere of Islam. They would blame that the followers of Qiblah and the readers of Kalima are being pushed out of Islam just for saying one word, and that they have not been given even the chance of making an excuse. Also Allah did not consult some worshipper of nature or a lecturer from Nadwa or some other liberal Islamic reformer of their persuasion. “May the curse of Allah fall on the wrongdoers.” Fourthly, the answer to this argument is:
YOUR ALLAH ALMIGHTY SAYS Read the rest of this entry »

CHARGE AGAINST ISLAMIC SCHOLARS

Fifthly, as a matter of fact these insolent people have levelled this baseless charge against the Islamic scholars. The experts of the Islamic law have never given such a decision. The insolent people have acted like the Jews and changed the meanings by interpreting the statement out of its context. “The Jews change and interpret a statement out of Its context,” says the Quran. The experts of law have not said that a man who has 99 acts of disbelief and one ad of Islam in his character is a Muslim. 0 Allah we seek your refuge from such a dreadful mischief! The truth, on the other hand, is that the entire Muslim community is agreed on the point that a person who has in his balance-sheet 99 000 statements of Islam and one statement of disbelief is certainly and absolutely a disbeliever. In 99 drops of rose-water if you put one drop of urine, it will all become urine. But these ignorant people say that if you put one drop of rose-water into 99 drops of urine, the whole mixture will become pious and pure impossible. Let alone the Islamic scholars, even an ordinary sensible man cannot make such a silly statement. Actually the experts of lslamic law have said that if a Muslim uses a word which has one hundred possible shades of meaning, and 99 shades of meaning go towards disbelief and one comes towards Islam, it would be fair not to call him a disbeliever, until it is proved that his intention was to express some shade of disbelief through this world. The logic behind this statement appeals to common sense. The experts want to give this Muslim the benefit of the doubt. At least, there is one shade of opinion which is Islamic. 1t is quite possible that he might have intended this one, and this view would go in his favour. However they have already made it clear that, if his intention was based on disbelief, in Allah’s decision he will be a disbeliever. Let us take an example. If Zaid says “Amar possesses knowledge of the unseen definitely.’. This statement has the following possible shades of meaning:

POSSIBLE SHADES OF MEANING

1. Amar by his very nature knows about everything that is unseen. This is clear disbelief and partnership with Allah.
“Say none in the heavens or on earth, except Allah, knows what is hidden”,
(QURAN XXVI’-65)

2. Amar does not possess the knowledge of the unseen but some spirits (Jinn) who possess this knowledge, convey this knowledge to him. So he definitely gets the knowledge of the unseen. This is also a disbelief.
“The Jinn saw clearly how, if they had know the Unseen, they would not have Read the rest of this entry »

TO ACCEPT DISBELIEF AS ISLAM IS DISBELIEF

The Muslim scholars, will not declare him as a disbeliever, because out of 21 shades of meaning 20 went towards disbelief but one came towards Islam. They will exercise due care and give him the benefit of the doubt and consider this good aspect unless it is proved that Umar had the intention of expressing one of the 20 shades of disbelief. This sort of care and benefit of the doubt cannot be extended to an insolent man, who says that Allah’s words are lies or uses insulting language about the Prophet of Islam صلى اله عليه وسلم, because Read the rest of this entry »
