Masjid Al Nabawi15 Ahadith on love and respect of the sahaba (radi Allahu anhum) for The Holy Prophet Muhammed صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم

1. During the negotiations of the Treaty of Hudaybiah, Arwah, as the representative of the Quraish, repeatedly wanted to touch the beard of the Holy Prophet ﷺ as per the Arab tradition of diverting one’s attention. But, Sayyiduna Mughirah Bin Sha’bah radi Allahu anhu intercepted his hand with his sword. Arwah became very conscious and started observing the manners of the Sahaba. When he returned to the pagans, he said:

“I have seen the Courts of Caesar and Najashi but I never saw the respect, which the Companions of Muhammad ﷺ show to him. They take the saliva of Muhammad ﷺ into their hands and never let it drop down and rub the saliva on their faces. When Muhammad ﷺ gives them some order, they compete With each other to carry out that order. They fight with each other to take the water, Which flows after Muhammad’s ﷺ ablution. When they speak in front of him, they lower their voices and never look at his face directly.” — Sahih Bukhari Vol 3, Book 50,Hadith 891

2. When the Noble Messenger صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم once finished making wudhu, Hadrat Bilal رضی اللہ تعالٰی عنہ took the water that was used.  Read the rest of this entry »

Abdal Qadir Al Jilani radi Allahu anhuSayings, Sufi Quotes, Islamic Quotes by Shaykh Abdal Qadir Al-Jilani radi Allahu anhu (Malfuzat Sharif)

There is nothing worth talking about, until you have been hatched out of the egg of your wordly existence [wujud] and embraced by the wing of the sacred law [shariah].

When the heart puts the Quran and the Sunnah into practice, it draws near to Allah exalted is He.

Make praying for forgiveness [istighfar] the regular practice of your tongue, grateful acknowledgment [ [itiraf] the regular practice of your heart, and quiet calm [sukun] the regular practice of your innermost being [sirr].

Let others eat their fill, while you go hungry.
Let others enjoy respect, while you remain humble.
Let others become rich, while you remain poor.

For the sake of ALLAH (Exalted is He) : Sahih Al-Bukhari

Door Of Kaaba Sharif Narrated `Abdullah bin `Umar Radi Allahu Anhu that the Prophet SalAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam said,

“While three men were walking, It started raining and they took shelter (refuge) in a cave in a mountain. A big rock rolled down from the mountain and closed the mouth of the cave. They said to each other, “Think of good deeds which you did for Allah’s sake only, and invoke Allah by giving reference to those deeds so that He may remove this rock from you.”

One of them said, ‘O Allah! I had old parents and small children and I used to graze the sheep for them. On my return to them in the evening, I used to milk (the sheep) and start providing my parents first of all before my children. One day I was delayed and came late at night and found my parents sleeping. I milked (the sheep) as usual and stood by their heads. I hated to wake them up and disliked to give milk to my children before them, although my children were weeping (because of hunger) at my feet till the day dawned. O Allah! If I did this for Your sake only, kindly remove the rock so that we could see the sky through it.’ So, Allah removed the rock a little and they saw the sky. Read the rest of this entry »

Those who may experience sadness and affliction in Paradise

AllahSayyidi Abd’Al Aziz Al-Dabbagh (rehmatullahi ta ala alayh) presented as proof-God be pleased with him-for the general existence of affliction in Paradise.

When all the inhabitants of Paradise enter Paradise, the light of praise shines on their tongues and that light is commensurate with their knowledge of their Lord in the House of the world. Then when they enter, they acquire further knowledge of their Lord in accordance with what they knew in the House of the world-more than can be reckoned! They feel remorse in the extreme for their inadequacy with regard to their Lord’s rightful claim, and how they served Him and worshipped Him.’ He said-God be pleased with him: ‘Now this is a matter that occurs in the hereafter. And it’s the truth without any doubt and disagreement. ‘

I, al-Lamati, would add that authoritative text has been transmitted for this. The Hafiz al-Suyuti-God the Sublime have mercy on him-says in al-Budur al-safira in the chapter Tahassur ahl al janna ala tark al-dhikr: ‘AI-Tabarani and al-Bayhaqi published with a good chain of transmission from Muadh b. Jabal-God be pleased with him-that the latter reported: “The Apostle of God-God’s blessings and peace be upon him-said: ‘The only affliction the inhabitants of Paradise experience is because of the moment they spent without recollecting God.’ ”

Likewise, Ahmad [Ibn Hanbal], al-Tirmidhi, Ibn Hibban and al Hakim published and classified as authentic (sahih) from Abu Hurayra-God be pleased with him-that he reported: “The Apostle of God-God’s blessings and peace be upon him-said: ‘No group of people sits down somewhere and omits to recollect God and doesn’t invoke blessings on the Prophet-God’s blessings and peace be upon him-without experiencing sorrow on the Day of Resurrection, even if they enter Paradise as a reward. ”

And al-Bayhaqi and Ibn Abi’l-Dunya published from Aisha-God be pleased with her-that she reported: “The Apostle of God-God’s blessings and peace be upon him-said:  ‘If there’s any moment spent by a human being in which he doesn’t recollect God favorably, he’ll be afflicted for it on the Day of Resurrection.””This is what the Hafiz al-Suyuti cites in the above-mentioned chapter.

Those who are exempted from Questioning in the Grave – Sharhus Sudoor

flowers background rays wallpaper   Abul Qaasim Sa’adi (Radi Allahu anhu) mentions in Kitaab ur Ruh, ‘it is proven according to proper narrations that certain fortunate ones will not be questioned in the grave and Munkar and Nakeer will not come to them. This is either due to the personal excellence of that personality, or due to the difficulty he faced at the time of death, or because of the Blessed Era.’

Ahadith-e-Mubaaraka

1. A person asked Rasoolullah (Sallallahu ta ala alayhi wa sallam) , ‘Why is it that with the exception of a Shaheed, every Momin (believer) will be put through a test in his grave?’ He (Sallallahu ta ala alayhi wa sallam) said, ‘The flash of the sword is for him, instead of the torment of the grave.’

2. Hazrat Abu Ayub (Radi Allahu anhu) reported that Rasoolullah (Sallallahu ta ala alayhi wa sallam) said, ‘One who fought against the enemy with patience until such time that he is victorious or martyred, (he) will not face the torment of the grave.’

3. Hazrat Salman Farsi (Radi Allahu anhu) reported that Rasoolullah (Sallallahu ta ala alayhi wa sallam) would say, ‘One who remained set at the boundary (of the enemy lines) for a day and night, for the sake of Jihad (then this action of his) is more valuable than one month’s Namaaz and fasting. If he dies in this way, then his deeds will be continued and his sustenance as well and he will be spared from the Munkar (and Nakeer).’

4. Hazrat Fudhala ibn Ubaid (Radi Allahu anhu) reported that Rasoolullah (Sallallahu ta ala alayhi wa sallam) said, ‘The deeds of every person comes to an end, except for those of a person who is in preparation for Jihad in the way of Allah. This action of his will continue growing until Qiyaamat and he will be protected from the difficulty of the grave. Imam Abu Dawud added, ‘He will be spared from Munkar and Nakeer as well’.’ It is in the narration of Ibn Majah from Abu Hurairah (Radi Allahu anhu), ‘he will also be protected from the anxiety on the day of Qiyaamat.’ Ahmed, Tabrani, Baz’zaz and Ibn Asaakir etc. have reported the same thing with their own chains of transmission.
